"Dilemmas of Public Scholarship: Protecting
Human Subjects vs. Projecting Human Subjects"
Wednesday, October 25th, 2000, 4:00 p.m.
Brief presentations by our guest speakers will be followed by
an open discussion of issues relating to reconciling the need
to protect informants and the need to publicize our work. The
session should be of both intellectual interest to those concerned
with public scholarship, and practical interest for those doing
research that is likely to draw media attention.
